Katarzyna Borek is recognised as one of the most outstanding polish pianist. She proved her artistry by receiving awards in many prestigious international piano competitions as well as represented Poland on many occasions. She has performed since she was very young, receiving laudatory reviews from musical authorities as well as praise from international audiences all over the world. Her main goal in music is to bond her need for sonic experiments with musical virtuosity.

Katarzyna Borek studied at the F. Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz (Poland) in the class of great pianist and professor – Katarzyna Popowa – Zydroń. Having received The Polish Ministry of Culture and the Flemish Government Scholarship, between 2003 and 2007 Katarzyna Borek studied at the Royal Flemish Conservatory of Music in Brussels. Her Professor was Daniel Blumenthal, a truly great American pianist.
